Oh, and even more cats



Over the past few months, I haven't been too present online. Aside from a few posts here and there, I haven't really had the time to do much more, and if you just so happened to be wondering why I haven't been present, well then this post has all the answers. And the answer you're looking for is cats.

A little over a year ago, after many heated debates with my parents, we took in 4 kittens that were born in our backyard to a feral cat, who we appropriately named Momma Cat. Fast forward to this past April, after many failed attempts to catch Momma to get spayed, she had 3 more kittens. So of course we had to take those in as well. Add a friendly who tabby wandered into our yard to the mix and in total I am now the caregiver to 8 cats in total. Kitty, Whitey, Chin, Princess Poppy, Biggie, Pepper, Geno, and Sage. Crazy, I know.

If you were to ask me a year ago if I would ever have a cat as a pet, my answer would have been an obvious no, because, though I'm a lover of all animals, I've always been a dog person and I'm allergic to cats (and dogs... but we don't talk about that). But in the past year, my perspective has changed completely. I've seen and learned and have grown so much just from having these kittens/cats in my care.
