All throughout the summer of 2018, I spent most of my free time trying to come up with the perfect iced matcha latte recipe. Any old recipe wouldn't do. I wanted Starbucks quality, but with better ingredients. It only took a couple of months, but I think I found a winner. For this recipe, I use organic matcha, organic sugar, and unsweetened oat milk. The ingredients could definitely be swapped out for other ingredients, such as pre-sweetened matcha, generic granulated sugar (which probably isn't vegan, btw), and sweetened soy milk, but then this recipe wouldn't be as healthy and suitable to drink everyday... just something to keep in mind! Anyway, off to the recipe!
Iced Matcha Late
makes 3 cups
What You'll Need:
1/3 cup warm water
3 tsp matcha powder
I use THIS one
3 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 cups oat milk
Lots of ice
Shaker
What You'll Need To Do:
In your shaker, pour in the warm water, matcha powder, sugar, and vanilla.
Shake until completely mixed
Add in the ice and oat milk
Pour into glasses and serve!
